The meaning of something blue on your wedding day is defined as love and faithfulness. Have you heard of the saying Something Olde, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue, that was the inspiration behind this editorial. HERE is a back story of how this tradition came about.

In May, I had the honor of attending Adorn Collective Workshops spring workshop with other like-minded creatives. The McAlister-Leftwich House in Greensboro, North Carolina hosted the workshop, the house has gorgeous white doors and beautiful gardens that compliment the blue and blush colors from the shoot.
The bride wore a long-sleeve gown by Robert Bullock Bride, and the groom wore a blue tux with black lapels. The Prettiest Pieces‘s lounge area sat near the woods which created the perfect backdrop. The flowers on the coffee table were from Abba Design and the cake was from Sugar Euphoria.

The blue details included Badgley Mischka Shoes, invitations from EM Paper Co, handpainted wood art from Jess Brass Art, and styling items from The Styling Source.
The beautiful vintage yet modern elements on the table all paired perfectly with the theme. The velvet table cloth and gold candleholders were my favorite detail.

The rest of the details speak for themselves! I love collaborating with like-minded creatives, if you are wanting to collaborate let’s chat!
