COVID-19 and Your Wedding – What are your options?

COVID-19 has caused stress and anxiety for so many of us.  And in the midst of so much uncertainty, you are trying to decide what to do about your upcoming wedding. I am here for you, friend! Let’s take a deep breath and chat about some good options in case you need to make adjustments for your wedding day.

Change Your Wedding into an Intimate Wedding

I think this is a wonderful solution! Depending on the current guidelines in your state, you can cut down the guest list to 20-50 of your closest people. Live stream the rest of your guest in day of and then you can plan for a large reception for later on when large gatherings are allowed again. I can create custom packages for small, intimate weddings and have opened up weekdays including Fridays and also Sundays to accommodate more intimate weddings.

Elope!

At the end of the day what matters is that you get to marry your person. Eloping is another great option. You can still say “I do” with just the two of you and then plan a great party when everything calms down. I know so many beautiful locations that provide a beautiful backdrop for an elopement so I can lead and guide you as you change your plans.

Reschedule to a later date

If you simply cannot image having your wedding day without being able to celebrate with everyone you dreamed of being there then rescheduling is a good option for you. With so many brides facing the same dilemma right now, you might want to consider alternative days of the week like Monday, Friday or Sunday for your date if you find that Saturdays are booked for your preferred vendors, that way you can keep your dream team.
